We as members and supporters of The Bayou Meets The Bay Classic Foundation will continue to be engaged in developing and implementing Voter Registration & Education programs throughout our community.
The program to educate and register people in our communities is a necessity. We must always have the benefit to influence policies that affect our lives from birth to the remaining days of our lives. Elected officials contribute to our living conditions, good or bad, depending on the policies they support.
Therefore, if we are going to decide what is right for our communities then we must elect persons that will support and vote for what we want and need. If we don’t vote, we will not contribute to the enhancement of our lives. Voting determines the quality of education we experience from Pre-K to College. The health of our is determined by the policy makers from the national to the local levels of government. Voting is very significant in determining the overall quality of ALL our lives in our communities. Therefore we must all become educated and vote.
